Devon’s Children Social Care Academy is expanding! We have great plans for our learning and development offer and would love you to be part of it.
Are you passionate about the learning and development of others? Do you like to keep abreast of research, social care policy and theory? If so, we would be delighted to receive your application for the post of Practice Development Advisor.
When in post, you will be joined by a further six Practice Development Advisors, our two Restorative Practice Leads and the Academy Service Manager and Lead for Management and Leadership.
As a qualified and experienced social worker and practice educator you will make a significant contribution to staff development supporting newly qualified social workers on their ASYE programme, our social work students and a particular focus on the career progression of our Experienced Social Workers.
You will have strong organisational, communication and analytical skills and be readily able to apply these skills to the diverse range of work that you will be responsible for. You will be a team player who recognises the strengths in others work and knows how your work can contribute to a whole team ethos. You will know about the challenges and potential for learning and development across the service.
