Our Team Managers make a vital contribution to the delivery of high-quality social care services, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join us across Devon and make an impact on the lives of our children and young people..
We have opportunities across our Childrens and Families, Permanency and Transition, Initial Response and Disabled Childrens Service teams.
Working as a Team Manager
Managing a team of practitioners, you’ll embed a high-performance culture by helping your team to continually develop their skills so they can achieve the best outcomes for our children, young people and their families. Through reflective supervision meetings with your team, you’ll champion their personal and professional growth.
Alongside your role as a people manager, you will provide oversight on all children and young people in your defined area, ensuring quality standards are maintained and championing restorative practice, working with children, families and young people to reduce risks, build on strengths and achieve positive outcomes together.
About you
An outstanding social worker with a strong understanding of safeguarding, you will have significant post-qualifying experience gained within at least two different social care environments, including work with disabled children and families if applying for this service area.
