The Opportunities:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Full Time Social Work Resource Officer
to support frontline Social Workers based across Mid Devon. Currently a fixed term post for 12 months (to cover the existing post holder's secondment).
The roles are frontline Business Support which is integral to the delivery of statutory activities for frontline Children’s Social Care, one of our business critical, safeguarding services and a key priority for Devon County Council. We are therefore seeking individuals with a flexible, “can do” attitude who can bring transferable skills.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and interpersonal skills. They will be able to quickly respond to changing priorities whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent administrative and organisational skills to undertake tasks across the full range of Business Support activities. The posts will sit within the wider Business Support function where they can draw on a wealth of support and experience from other Senior Administrators in similar roles.
They will also be able to input data accurately, problem solve, use initiative, effectively utilise technology and IT systems and support others to do the same. They will have good keyboard skills, be able to prioritise their own workload, work to deadlines, deal with sensitive and confidential information and produce work of a high standard.
