Full-time (37 hours) or part-time (30 hours) per week

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Social Work Apprentices in our Childrens & Families and Initial Response Teams across Devon, starting in February 2023.
This is a fantastic opportunity to achieve a degree in Social Work whilst gaining ‘on the job’ experience to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Social Worker. You will have the opportunity to access a wide range of learning opportunities within the programme.
We are looking for applicants who:
After successful completion of the Apprenticeship, you will gain a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Work (England), which will enable you to apply for registration as a Social Worker with the regulatory body, Social Work England. Thereafter you will be supported to apply for progression to a Newly Qualified Social Worker role.

If you are selected for interview, you will be required to complete a further supporting statement for the Open University.
Our process
Closing date for applications: 21st August 2022
Shortlisted candidates will need to attend a virtual assessment centre on 5th September 2022 for the initial group exercise and written test.
Interviews will be held from Tuesday 6th September – Friday 9th September 2022
A Social Work Degree Apprenticeship briefing will be held virtually on TEAMS - Thursday 11 August 2022 at 2:00pm – 3:30pm.
A representative from the Open University will provide guidance on the interview process and programme.
