The Devon Public Health Team is recruiting for two Public Health Specialists! These are exciting opportunities to improve Devon’s health and wellbeing.

We are seeking highly motivated, curious and committed individuals from a variety of backgrounds, to fill two exciting roles within our team.
The Public Health Specialist roles span all domains of public health, but these roles will have a key focus on improving the health and wellbeing of people with the poorest outcomes.
Working within a collaborative team and with a wide range of stakeholder organisations, you will provide leadership and support for the strategic development of agreed portfolio areas. Portfolio areas, which may change over time, include children, young people and families’ programmes, cardiovascular disease prevention, tobacco control and sexual health.
To be successful you will need to be educated to Masters level or equivalent in public health, an excellent communicator and team player with proven public health skills, passionate about health and wellbeing improvement, experienced in managing multiple workstreams and working across organisational boundaries, dynamic, collaborative, creative, adaptable and able to lead and develop staff teams.

These jobs are located at County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter but currently involve remote working.
